Terms of Service

Last updated October 13, 2026

1. What 2KMarket is

2KMarket is an online marketplace where independent players ("sellers") offer NBA 2K virtual currency, accounts, services and gift cards to other players ("buyers"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

2KMarket is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by 2K, Take-Two Interactive, Visual Concepts, the NBA, Sony, Microsoft, Valve or any other game or platform company. All trademarks belong to their owners.

2. We are a middleman

2KMarket does not own, create, stock or sell any of the currency, accounts, services or gift cards listed on the site. Every listing belongs to an independent seller. We act only as a middleman: we hold the buyer's payment in escrow, release it to the seller once the order is complete, and step in through disputes to keep the transaction safe for both sides.

The contract for each sale is between the buyer and the seller. 2KMarket is not the seller of record, does not guarantee the quality of any listing beyond the buyer protection described below, and is not responsible for what sellers offer.

3. Your account

  • You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live (and at least 18 to sell or withdraw).
  • One account per person. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Identity verification (KYC) is required to sell, to withdraw, and to pay with methods marked as requiring it (such as cards). We may ask for it again at any time, and we may refuse or cancel verification.

4. Credits

  • Purchases on 2KMarket use credits. 1 credit = 1 US dollar.
  • Payment methods charge a processing fee on top of the credits you buy. The fee is shown before you pay. Crypto and Cash App payments are credited automatically once confirmed. Revolut payments are made through our Revolut link with the reference shown, and credited once staff see the payment arrive. Card and other payments are handled personally by staff in a support ticket.
  • Credits are not a bank deposit, do not earn interest, and can only be used on 2KMarket or withdrawn by verified sellers.

5. How purchases are protected

  • When you buy, the price is held by 2KMarket in escrow. The seller is not paid yet.
  • After the seller delivers, you confirm the order. If you don't respond, the order confirms automatically 3 days after delivery.
  • The seller's earnings are then held for a further 14 days before they can be withdrawn (the 2KMarket Safeguard). During this time either side can open a dispute.
  • In a dispute, 2KMarket staff review the order chat and evidence and decide whether to refund the buyer or release the funds to the seller. Staff decisions are final on the platform.
  • Always pay and communicate through 2KMarket. Deals made outside the site are not protected and may lead to a ban.

6. Selling

  • Only list what you own or have the right to sell, and describe it accurately.
  • Deliver within the delivery time you set. Instant listings must contain the real account details.
  • 2KMarket charges a site fee on each sale, shown in the seller hub. Withdrawals cost 6% + $10.00 and are processed by staff.
  • Account sellers must hand over full, permanent access (including email recovery where applicable). Recovering an account after selling it is fraud.

7. Game rules and risk

Buying or selling accounts, currency or services may break the terms of the game or platform involved, and the game publisher may suspend or reset accounts. You take this risk yourself. 2KMarket's buyer protection covers non-delivery and items that don't match the listing; it does not cover actions taken later by a game publisher.

8. Not allowed

  • Stolen, hacked or chargeback-funded goods, accounts or payment methods.
  • Asking for or sharing payment outside 2KMarket, or posting contact details to move a deal off-site.
  • Fake reviews, multiple accounts, impersonating staff, harassment, or misleading listings.
  • Anything illegal where you or the other party live.

9. Suspension

We may hide listings, freeze balances under review, or suspend or ban accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk. Where fraud is involved, we may reverse transactions and share information with payment providers or authorities.

10. Liability

2KMarket is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, 2KMarket is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for the acts of buyers and sellers, or for actions by game publishers or platforms. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use 2KMarket after a change means you accept the new terms.

Questions about an order? Write in the order chat, or open a dispute from the order page and 2KMarket staff will step in.
